Since coastercentral.com was already taken, I'm thinking of going with coaster-central.com

What do you think of that domain name. Do you think the dash will cause any problems?

I'd try to avoid the dash...I'd go with something completely unique, to avoid confusion.

People looking for coaster central will always type in the the one w/o dashes first. So unless you are going to SEO and promote coaster-central 2x as hard as that other guy, your site will always be second. Much better to think of another name that'll reflect your site. How about thecoastercentral.com.

I'm not too sure. coastercentral will always go before coaster-central and thecoastercentral, because people won't remember the "the" or the "-".
