A few places to monetize your site

Postby gimgak on Mon Aug 25, 2008 4:32 pm

Hello! I've found some pretty good places to monetize your site, some unique ways other than just the regular adsense to it too. I'm posting my referral links, just so i get some credit to pointing you to these sites. If you find that one of these sites is a scam, please PM me so i can take it off of here.
Bidvertiser
Ok, I said I'd put some unique methods, not just something like adsense, but i felt like i needed to add bidvertiser too. It pays in paypal, at just $10, so its easy to reach payout. It might not pay like adsense but its better than most ad programs, and a good way to monetize your site.

Popupad
Yes, popups might be annoying, but they're a good way to monetize your site. paying about $0.0015 per each view, its good to have if you a fair amount of visitors. (5k unique a day will be around $7.50, in a month thats $225, enough to pay for a dedicated server) Its also good if you have lots of visitors that don't click ads, since it pays per view and not per click.

Matched.co.uk
This is when it gets unique. At matched.co.uk, you get payed a fixed amount per month for showing an ad, not for clicks. Let me explain. For one ad you get $5 a month, and you may put one ad per page, and put ads on upto 5 pages on the site. Thats $25 a month, and you may put the ad code on up to 5 sites, so 25x5=$125 a month, enough to pay for a lot of the cost of a dedicated server. This way, you get $$ even if you don't get any clicks! P.S. Pays by paypal too if your not from the UK.

Well thats all i wanted to share! Hope you find these useful!

Maybe not, I think he's just sharing examples. I hate popups, would never use them unless they're paying me like $5.00 each or something

I did a bit of looking around, apparently matched does pay out (if you can get any ads, that is... :P).

Matched really looks good, but you would need a very good pagerank first!

Oh, so matched is like selling ad space on your site. Well then yeah you need plenty hits and a high PR otherwise you won't make much.

Popupad is annoying. Visitors don't like pop ups, so they'll either block it or they'll never visit your site again.

Bidvertiser is quite nice but what about their payment? Less than adsense!

Matched is fine. Yea. I can make my site PR6 for the sake of money, don't you?
