A very serious bug in the donations system was discovered mid of this month and was fixed. As of now, I'd like to remind and warn everybody about the way the donations work. No stealing of DN$ will ever happen from now on. Anybody trying it will actually regret it.

Early this month, members found out the bug in the donations system that if you donated negative DN$ to anyone, it would actually deduct the DN$ of that person and credit it to that member. This was nothing short of stealing and we have already banned (and stripped off all services of) many members because of misusing the bug for earning quick DN$.

After the fix, we have ran enough tests to see if the bug is fixed and I'd like to warn members who want to *experiment* if the bug is still working that there is a certain way that the donations system will work henceforth.

It will not matter if the number you entered is positive or negative. If you donate 10 DN$ or -10 DN$ to me, it will result in the same thing: you'll end up donating +10 DN$ to me. So careful. Don't donate and say you were trying to test the system. We have done the testing part!

Anyone who has genuinely lost DN$, you could PM DNMaster. He'll check the logs and restore it for you. But it may take a while. So, please bear with it. And also, don't send false PMs!

Wow.. Never knew this sort of thing could happen. I mean, wowowee, there are swarms of people in this forum just wanting a domain name and that's it.

Thank god it was fixed, i was one of the first to know of this, but herbivore pointed it out, so thank god he did it, or we would all be in trouble, lol. Thanks for the staff for fixing this also

Sorry to hear about that, i heard you lost like 900 DN$?, thats harsh, a little more and you can get a domain name, maybe you should contact the admin here and tell him about it, he can maybe see the logs like sterex said

Yes. I lost over 900 DN$. I am very angry and hopefully it will get fixed.

Maybe because they are still trying to find a way in which they can confirm that you had 900 DN$ before that, since the system has freakishly re-distrivuted the points, they cant see how many points you have, or had.
